Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using HoldOn, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
What HoldOn does
HoldOn uses Apple's Screen Time and Family Controls frameworks to interrupt automatic app-opening behavior with a brief, deliberate pause before you open apps or websites you've chosen to protect. HoldOn is a personal productivity and habit tool — it is not a medical, therapeutic, or parental-control monitoring product, and it does not report your activity to any third party or account other than your own.
Subscriptions & billing
Some features require a HoldOn Premium subscription, offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription through the App Store.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price you agreed to when subscribing.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription any time in your Apple ID account settings, after purchase — turning off auto-renew does not affect the current active period.
- Any unused portion of a free trial, where offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription during the trial period.
- Refunds are handled by Apple, in accordance with Apple's own refund policies.
Declining or cancelling a subscription never blocks you from removing HoldOn's restrictions on your own device — see the Privacy Policy and the in-app "Stop Protecting Apps" option for details.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app beyond what applicable law permits;
- Use the app for any unlawful purpose or to violate anyone else's rights;
- Attempt to interfere with the app's operation or security.
Availability & changes
We may update, change, or discontinue features of HoldOn at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of material changes affecting Premium functionality.
Disclaimer
HoldOn is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee that using HoldOn will reduce your screen time by any specific amount — outcomes depend on you.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HoldOn and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Termination
You may stop using HoldOn at any time by deleting the app. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app developer operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
